Up to six cars were damaged when a car apparently lost control on Hale Road during the early hours of Sunday morning.
Police say they were called to the scene at around 4.30am after a report of a collision close to Hale Road bridge.
They say that “five or six parked vehicles” were damaged in the incident.

A man in his 40s was arrested at the scene before being taken to hospital with minor injuries.
He was later de-arrested and taken home.
An eyewitness said a black Audi had lost control after coming over the bridge.

She told us: “It smashed into a grey Astra parked on the left-hand side, shunting it with force into a wall on the left, spinning it over to the other side of the road into a driveway.
“The Audi ended up in a driveway, demolishing a wall and writing off a Mercedes, and also wrote off a car parked on the drive on the left-hand side as a wall fell on it.”
