Three males were arrested at Altrincham Interchange after a potential attempted robbery was spotted by a CCTV operator.
Police attended the station at around 6pm last evening after reports of an ongoing incident.
A local CCTV operator had noticed the incident, described as a potential attempted robbery with three males approaching a lone young male and trying to take a bag from him, and reported it to officers.
Police quickly attended and detained three males at the scene.
The trio were subsequently arrested and taken to police custody.
Police are now appealing for the victim to come forward.
