A truck and a car have been involved in a head-on collision in Altrincham town centre.
The incident happened at around 3pm this afternoon at the junction of Railway Street and Lloyd Street.
Witnesses at the scene say a white truck belonging to the DX Group courier company collided with the grey BMW iX.
It's thought the truck was looking to turn right down Lloyd Street at the time.
The BMW suffered significant damage to its front section in the incident and is currently still at the scene while emergency services carry out investigations.
We're awaiting confirmation but at the moment there do not appear to have been any serious injuries resulting from the incident.
There is however congestion around the Railway Street, Lloyd Street and The Downs area.
