Arthur Miller's classic play The Crucible is coming to the Altrincham Garrick next month.
The play follows the Salem witch trials of 1692, where an innocent game leads to a mysterious illness - and a community consumed by accusation, fear and hysteria. As suspicion spreads and loyalties collapse, characters face impossible choices between truth and survival.
Written as a response to McCarthyism in 1950s America, The Crucible remains sharply relevant today.

It's one of Miller's most celebrated works and features on the secondary school recommended reading list, making it a strong choice for local school groups.
Post-show Q&A sessions are available for schools - contact the box office on 0161 928 1677 for details.
Directed by Joseph Meighan, The Crucible will be staged from May 7th to 17th.
