It has its official launch this Friday.

A private clinic offering cosmetic surgery, aesthetics and wellness care under one roof has opened in Altrincham town centre, with its founders promising a holistic approach that follows patients from initial consultation through to 18 months post-surgery.

Bollin Clinic opened its doors on Stamford Street in mid-February following CQC registration, and is preparing to celebrate its official launch in late June.

The clinic occupies 450 square metres across the ground floor of Stamford Green, housing three consultation rooms, two general anaesthetic theatres, a local anaesthetic theatre, two treatment rooms for aesthetic procedures such as Botox and fillers, a medical photography room, a patient lounge, and four day-stay rooms for pre and post-operative care.

Leading the clinic is consultant plastic and cosmetic surgeon Mr Aftab Siddiqui, who has nearly 20 years' experience working in both the NHS and private practice, and is regarded as one of the top cosmetic surgeons in Manchester.

He is joined by Medical Director Dr Irfana Jilani, a GP with specialist expertise in dermatology, aesthetics and women's health, and Ruby Ghumra, CQC Registered Manager and Head of Operations.

Mr Siddiqui said the clinic was born out of a desire to do things differently. "There was always a gap – clinics weren't offering truly holistic care for cosmetic surgery. You'd go in, have the procedure using whatever equipment was available, and be discharged. But good outcomes take time. You need to optimise the patient before surgery so that their recovery is as good as it can be."

At Bollin Clinic, that means patients are supported by a dietitian and physiotherapy team in the weeks before surgery, with personalised nutrition and supplementation plans put in place.

Post-operatively, the clinic offers lymphatic drainage, red light therapy for scar healing, and follow-up care that continues for up to 18 months after surgery.

"I don't think there's any cosmetic surgery private clinic that is offering this," said Ruby Ghumra. "We're literally looking at every single step of the patient's journey from start to finish."

The equipment offer has also been carefully considered. Rather than applying a one-size-fits-all approach, Mr Siddiqui has invested in multiple liposuction technologies – including laser and body jet systems – so the right tool can be selected for each individual patient. "A patient shouldn't get laser liposuction simply because that's the only equipment available."

The clinic is based on the ground floor of Stamford Green in Altrincham town centre new

The team currently has 10 members of permanent staff, supported by a bank of around 40 theatre professionals including anaesthetists, scrub nurses, operating department practitioners and clinic nurses.

For those interested in what the clinic can offer, an initial complimentary consultation is available via the website, with the team on hand to discuss treatment options and help patients understand what is right for them.

The clinic is having an official launch on Friday 26th June

Altrincham was a deliberate choice of location. "For this kind of procedure, it needs to be easily accessible," said Mr Siddiqui, citing the town's Metrolink, rail, and road connections, as well as the clinic's own dedicated parking.
