Luxury beauty and wellbeing brand Rituals has confirmed the opening date for its new Altrincham store.
Last month we exclusively revealed that the Amsterdam-based company was taking over the former Skanda unit in the Stamford Quarter.
And we can now confirm that the George Street store will be opening on Wednesday 23rd July. A further store will be opening at Manchester Airport just five days later, on July 28th.
The opening marks another significant milestone for Altrincham's ongoing retail renaissance, with Rituals bringing its signature range of luxurious bath, body and home products to George Street.
The new store will offer customers an immersive experience into Rituals' wellness-focused philosophy, designed to inspire moments of mindfulness and self-care in everyday life. The location will reflect the brand's "sensorial and holistic retail concept", engaging customers through "rich storytelling and wellness-focused experiences".

"We’re delighted to be expanding our presence in Greater Manchester with the opening in Stamford Quarter, Altrincham and at Manchester Airport where we will bring the Rituals experience to these thriving and high-footfall locations," said Annemarie Forsyth, Managing Director of Rituals Cosmetics (UK & Ireland).
"Our philosophy is all about helping people slow down and find joy in everyday moments, whether through indulgent bath rituals or soothing home fragrances. We look forward to welcoming visitors into our new stores and inspiring them to embrace self-care and mindfulness as part of their daily routines.”
To celebrate the double expansion in Greater Manchester, the Rituals stores will be offering the following experiences and offers to customers in Altrincham on Saturday 26th July, and Manchester Airport, on Saturday 2nd August:
● There will be an exclusive goody bag for the first 50 customers who make a purchase
● There is an exclusive offer on Rituals’ best-selling foaming shower gels, which can be purchased for £8.50 (RRP £10.90)
● Customers will be gifted a complimentary mini reed diffuser to enjoy, with a spend of £45 or more.
David Charlton, Head of Asset Management at Bruntwood, which co-owns the Stamford Quarter with Trafford Council, said: "We are delighted to be welcoming Rituals to the Stamford Quarter.

"As a brand committed to wellbeing and sustainability, it is the perfect fit for our high street. This latest arrival shows just how much the Stamford Quarter is thriving as we continue to attract exciting stores, big brands and independent businesses.”
Founded in Amsterdam in 2000, Rituals has grown to become a global luxury brand with more than 1,300 stores across 43 countries.
Cllr Liz Patel, Trafford Council's Executive Member for Economy and Regeneration, added: "Altrincham is a fantastic place to live, visit, shop and do business. We are very pleased to welcome Rituals to our town centre."
Rituals' opening represents another success story for the Stamford Quarter's ongoing transformation following the £14m joint acquisition by Bruntwood and Trafford Council in October 2019.
The area is now home to leading independent and national hospitality brands including Nell's Pizza, Yum Cha, Lane7 and Starbucks.
Last year the Stamford Quarter also welcomed new retail openings including Mountain Warehouse and Crew Clothing, and it recently announced plans to split the vacant former Poundland unit on George Street into three separate retail spaces.
